Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Level 50: Your character should ideally be level 50. This will help with all the kill missions, etc.
• Alignment: Your character should be set to Vigilante (Recommended) or Hero. You can quickly set your alignment at Null the Gull in Pocket D (accessible via Base Portal).
• Difficulty: Start with your difficulty set at -1x1. You can set this by clicking the mission tab on your compass and then “Set Difficulty”.

Travel Methods

• Tram/Train/Ship/Helicopter/Other Standard Transit: Your typical method for traveling through zones.
• Base Portal: As mentioned before, you will sometimes be going to a base and using the transporter to get to a zone. Refer to the Overview page for more details.
• Oroborous Portal: You will use the Oro portal (power) to travel to Oroborous Zone and use either the Entry Portal to get to another zone or use the Oro: Echo Portal located behind the building to get to the Echo Zones.
• Looking For Group (LFG): Click the LFG menu at the top of the Chat window, go to Task Force, and click the radio button to the left of the “The Rule of Three [Positron Pt. 1]” line. Check that no other TFs or such are not also checked in this menu - otherwise you might end up going to seemingly random places in the game. Then, click the radio button at the bottom of the LFG window for “Lock the Event for Your Group”, then hit the “Queue” button. The LFG window should then disappear, and shortly afterward a window should pop up asking you to either “Join Queue” (green button) or “Leave Team” (red button). Once everyone on your team has hit the green button you should be transported directly to Posi in the center of Steel Canyon.

Oroborous Base Crystal

• This will be used a couple of times to get missions during the accolade run. You can use the one in the Fedexers Anonymous base, Cosmic Transport Base or in your own base if you have one set up.

Badge Tracker

• Number of Mobs Defeated: You can track the number of mobs you have defeated for a specfic type after you have defeated at least one of that mob. This will be useful for Vampyri (Striga), Werewolves (Striga), Wolf Spiders (Port Oaks) and The Family (Port Oaks).
  1. Open your badge menu
  2. Go to the defeats category
  3. Click on the badge you want to track
  4. Click “Add to Badge Tracker” at the bottom of the window, then you’ll see a linear progress tracker.

You can remove these trackers from the screen by clicking on the small red X at the end of the tracker line when no longer needed.

Debt Badge

1. Go to the Smuggler’s Submarine (Not the Smuggler’s Ship) and go to They Abyss.
2. Let one of the GMs kill you then go to hospital. Repeat this at least 4 times.
   • Helps if you turn off your defense and resistance toggles.
   • Using a self-res renders you untouchable for a short while, so it’s best to use the hospital.

Alpha Slot

After you get your debt (previous step), go to Oro and talk to Mender Ramiel to run the Alpha incarnate slot unlock arc (~5 missions).

You may get hit with the “Curse of Weariness” while going through this arc if you get hit by Captain Holtz. If you do, you’ll notice that suddenly you have half of your normal max endurance, and therefore half of your recovery, while your attacks now cost twice as much endurance. These effects combine into a debilitating nerf. See next step on how to skip it.

• Skip the Curse: If you haven’t auto-completed a mission recently, you can choose to auto-complete “Retrieve the stolen Incarnate Container” mission. This will skip the mob with the debuff.

  1. After talking to Lady Gray to get her mission. Go back to Mender Ramiel in Oro and select “Complete the current mission from this contact.”
  2. Go back to Lady Gray to finish the mission.
  3. Go back to Mender Ramiel for the final mission.

• If Cursed: You can either play a different toon to let the curse wear off over the course of a day or craft “Nectanebo’s Curse Breaker” at one of Vanguard’s crafting tables in Rikti War Zone:

• This will require 50 Vanguard Merits however, and to gather these merits you will have to run the “Intro to Vanguard” arc from Levantera and then kill Rikti, which may be difficult with the curse.
